Osprey Engineering Solutions are hiring on behalf of a leading organisation within the hydraulics and fluid power industry who are looking to recruit an experienced Branch Manager for their Norwich operations.


This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded leader to take ownership of an established branch, leading a skilled team while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continued business growth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing the branch's performance and ensuring the delivery of first-class service to customers across a range of industrial sectors.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead, motivate, and develop the branch team, creating a positive and high-performing culture.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring efficient operational performance.
  • Drive sales activity and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and win new business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor branch performance, budgets, and profitability, taking ownership of achieving business objectives and KPIs.
  • Ensure quotations, service delivery, and customer enquiries are managed effectively and to a high standard.
  • Work closely with service and workshop teams to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and regulatory compliance across the branch.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement initiatives to enhance performance and service levels.


We're keen to speak with individuals who have:


  • Previous experience in a Branch Manager, Depot Manager, Service Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role.
  • A background within hydraulics, fluid power, engineering distribution, industrial services, plant, pumps, pneumatics, or a related technical sector.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets, KPIs, and branch performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • A customer-focused approach with the ability to build long-term relationships and drive business growth.
